Join Us at Caribbean Days Festival 2025 in Coquitlam!

African Fair Trade Society welcomes you to one of British Columbia’s most vibrant celebrations: the Caribbean Days Festival, happening Saturday, July 26 (10 AM–10 PM) and Sunday, July 27 (11 AM–8 PM) at Town Centre Park, Coquitlam.
This free festival is a joyful cultural feast designed for everyone—families, friends, and music lovers alike. Set against the beautiful backdrop of Lafarge Lake near Lafarge Lake–Douglas SkyTrain Station, it's easy to reach and fully accessible Expect lively crowds—every year up to 60,000 people gather to dance, eat and vibe together.
Parade in the Park
On Saturday at 11 AM, join the Carnival-style Parade through Town Centre Park. Colourful costumes, high-energy rhythms, and community spirit make this a can’t-miss moment.
Live Music & Entertainment
Two stages host a dazzling lineup of performers throughout both days. Enjoy Soca, Reggae, Calypso, Latin, African, and more. Headliners include Moses Revolution from Toronto and Trinidad & Tobago’s Soca Monarch Shurwayne Winchester.
Saturday highlights: DJ BJ John Edwards, Sweet Pan, X‑Kalibre, Mostly Marley, and more, followed by a DJ party in the Beer Garden from 8–10 PM (19+ only).
Sunday highlights: Steelpan soloists, Afro‑Dominican dance, limbo contests, and encore performances from Moses Revolution & Shurwayne Winchester.
Food, Drinks & Craft Market
Taste the Caribbean with dishes from Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and beyond—alongside international options and refreshing beverages. A beer garden offers a relaxed space for adults to unwind.
Explore the Craft Market, featuring handmade jewellery, clothing, art and imported goods perfect for unique gifts and souvenirs.
Family Fun & Activities
Bring the whole crew! There’s a Kids’ Parade, games, and amusements to keep young ones happy. Friendly soccer matches are held as part of the Caribbean Days Cup youth tournament.
